My client has recently finished a new build with multiple issues. A window that was not closing properly was one of her concerns. The contractor sent a guy out to remove and reinstall it. Strike two, it still did not close.
I was contracted to do the repairs. The wall was out of plumb 3/4″ and the window was installed with a bow in it. The casing was removed and revealed that only half of the window flange was actually resting on framing and had fasteners. All of the necessary repairs were made and the window is working properly. My client then had me make sure all of the exterior doors were operable.
This is the beginning of a long lasting relationship with our new client, we appreciate you.
