The next phase of property maintenance for our client was to address the significant foundation, rot and lack of gutter system on their beautiful home. The home was lacking a gutter system. Over time it eventually shifted the piers under the deck from soil movement. After years of the moisture dripping off the roof, destroying the deck, it was time to replace it.
Additional piers were added to support the weight of the back deck. All of the rotted joist and deck were upgraded. It was decided that we would replace all of the 6×6 post while we had it all jacked up. New fasteners, carriage bolts on the outside beams and a support under the staircase were added.
A new gutter system on the front and back of the home were added. Leaf guards were added to the gutter system to help with the trees seasonal leaves.
