This bathroom was in this condition for about 10 months before we took over the stalled project. It was a water leak scenario with insurance covering the repairs. The previous contractor was not insured and therefore the insurance underwriter would not make payment.
The subfloor was reinforced , insulated and sealed. All the plumbing lines had additional shutoff valves installed with access panels. The wiring was corrected with new outlets, switches and new fixtures. With new lower sections of drywall added; all the walls received texture and paint.
The finished look; new flooring, vanity, baseboard, toilet and make up station.
Of course, the shower tile with the valve that was cut out was upgraded. New valve, plumbing, tile and fixtures.
During the project the water heater was leaking. It never ends. It was replaced with a new one.
The job is completed.
